I’m about as street smart as a choir boy lost in De Wallen. So rap lyrics like “I put 8 balls in corners without using pool sticks,” or “It’s a trip the way ya’ll make these chicks twist each other” go right over my head. No clue. Gone are the days of sweating in tents – row after row – for 72 hours in Indigo, Calif. each April. The Coachella Music & Arts Festival has some new rules for camping on site this year. The 2010 festival will feature the first ever ‘car camping’ option. Participants receive a campsite where they can drive and leave their car for the weekend. And guess what? Along with car camping, this year also features ‘In’s and Out’s’! Think about it folks. You know what this means?

Three straight days of tailgating. No more $10/beer tabs racking up inside the venue. Each concert-goer is allowed to bring one case of beer into the campground. If you have six people in you car that’s 576 beers. Plus the rule seems sort of like it should be written ‘one case-ish per person‘. And they don’t even mention hard liquor. (Hi my name’s Eddie and I’ll be you mini-bar tender.) This car camping test is great addition to the wonderful festival. Be sure to check out the line-up and deets at their website.

The organizers and supporters of the ‘I’m With CoCo‘ campaign took the streets today for the Conan Rally. Fans of The Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien showed their support by cheering, chanting, waving signs, and knocking out a fake Jay Leno. Fake Jay took a solid one to the chin that finished him off. For a while there it looked like Leno had the upper hand on Fake Conan, as he had him in a mean headlock.

Daper DJ Mike Relm has an interesting take on making music. Relm likes to make music that interacts with moving pictures, and viral videos often make become the subject and the instrument in his songs. Today on Mevio Men we are profiling Relm’s Remix of Sarah Palin. Sexy Sarah in song. Oh yeah. It’s so rogue.

This is some serious Wayfarer love you’re seein’ right here. What you’re watching is a guy getting a pair of sunnies tatted on his face. The video is the latest release out of the “Never Hide Films” series that Ray-Ban produces to promote their glasses. What I want to know is ‘did this guy just sell-out his face to Ray-Ban so they can make a viral video?’ Hope he got paid well.

Turns out men and women are looking for different things in each other. Who would’ve ever known?! While women seem to wish for a higher level of romance, love, and commitment, men are in pursuit of more sex, and specifically blow jobs. Oh yeah and men also want a little less of something from their partner – weight and hair.

These are the results of Google searches based on an autofill feature Google employs. When a sentence of “How can I get my girlfriend/boyfriend to” is typed into the search engine, Google recommends results based on popular searches. The popular searches from men and women are often very different, but sometimes both sexes are looking for exactly the same thing. ‘Trust’ is an important value for everyone, it seems. Same with love – and love lost. Turns out guys and gals both actively search for ways to get their partner to break up with them. I have a few I’d like to recommend.

“Youth In Revolt = unique in humor. Good stuff. Highly recommended,” is the first tweet to come from legendary skater Tony Hawk after he was treated to an exclusive premiere of the new Michael Cera film Youth In Revolt earlier this week. And ya’ have to listen to the Birdman!

Youth In Revolt opens in theaters nationwide today (Jan. 8th), and for the most part everyone seems to be enjoying the film. A “well-paced film that includes lots of fine character bits”, is where ComingSoon.net sticks their review of the flick.

Our lovely host takes a peek at some interesting ways guys go after their girl, and along the way she discovers her very own alter ego – Greta. I’m not sure who I like more – Amanda or Greta!

In what looks like a scene out of a Batman movie, the Sea Shepherd Society’s high tech new boat has been crushed by a Japanese whaling ship in the middle of the Antarctic. The collision appears to have happened as the whalers turned towards the protesters and chopped the front off the $1.5 million trimaran.

About a month ago we profiled a video on Mevio Men about the Sea Shepherd Society and surfer Dave Rashovich. The Podsurf video focused on whaling and the dolphin slaughter of Taiji.

The Sea Shepherd Society is led by Greenpeace founder Paul Watson. In recent years the Sea Shepherds have raised money from Hollywood environmentalists and many ships in their fleet are named after the donors. The crew of the Ady Gil were rescued by the Bob Barker, a $2 million icebreaker.

“Geez Gordan maybe today wasn’t the day to wear your mesh Storm Trooper shirt” explains Darth Vader to his nipple flashing member of the imperial forces. But of course this isn’t Star Wars. It’s Family Guy and their ode to the epic science fiction series.

Peter, Stewie, Lois, Chris and Meg take a shot at Luke, Hans, Leia, Darth and Yoda in Family Guy: Something, Something, Something Dark Side, set to air on Fox this Dec. 22. This is actually the second chapter of the Family Guy ‘Star Wars’ series. Two years ago the creators launched ‘Blue Harvest’ which was met with mixed reviews.
